It was just really stuffy and something about the air in there didn't seem very healthy. I will still be going without a respirator if I go back but thats cuz I hate wearing things on my face.

That place smelled real nice. I could take you to some places that don't.

I drink gasoline for breakfeast and beer for dinner!

It had nothing to do with the smell, it didn't stink. There was a lot of particulate in the air possibly asbestos. My mouth and throat felt like I ate fiberglass after spending about an hour in there.

Yeah, it was very easy to deal with. Just like any other building. Although one of us almost had a run in with the kids living there in that big room upstairs.

Oh yeah, go fuck yourself. I need to prove shit to a couple of nubes like I need to jack off on Sundays in mine shafts under 400 ft. Sorry, I forgot, I've never been to Portland or started drinking there, bought more in Olympia, had a few at a bar there after said brewery, and finished the rest on the way back to Portland. I really need your dumb ass to call me out. You can always feel free to try out to join The Command, good luck Mary.

Why would you post a comment about being there if you aren't willing to post pictures...that is the premise of this website isn't it? I second Solomon on you being an idiot.

I was kinda wanting to see pictures as well. Most of you all on here have really great shots and are pretty happy to post... Guess not everyone is as friendly..?
I didn't think anyone was calling you out.

That place is OK at best, why anyone would want to see my crappy pictures is beyond me. I figured, as with the majority of people on here now, that somehow you needed pictures to prove anything. I've never been much for that for several reasons. I'm just the guy that gets things done. The toughest thing about this place was the cop that was scoping it out while I took flash pictures in the roof jungle. There was a fire there earlier in the day, so they were on high alert. So we had a brew and he went away. Noah Vale takes better pictures than I do anyway.

Don't know what you're talking about, that's a good picture! I haven't explored much in the PNW so I'm sure the old brewery will be exciting for me.

I may be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure neither one of us said it was some big challenge. We walked in through a hole in a door.....apparently you only post pictures when you are exploring something extremely dangerous and difficult, and when you're not posting those pics you just talk about beer as much as you can to try and prove how big your cock is (sounds huge btw). Now its not that I'm calling you out, but lets see the pics of you climbing mount everest while fighting off Bears with lasers, all the while carrying a keg of beer (because I won't be impressed by anything less). Now please do us all a favor and take your negativity away from this thread and go suck a dick.

As far as difficulty goes, I give the newer portion of the building a 1 (which is where Junkyards self-proclaimed "crappy picture" was taken"). I suppose if the only value that you find in UE is in the difficulty/danger level, this place would not interest you much unless you free climb the crumbling old tower that you can see in the background of Junkyards picture with a keg of beer strapped to your back.
However, I tend to find value in the photography and history of buildings. It seems that there is just a minor difference in our views of what is a fun Urbex experience. =) I just think that Junkyard is an asshole misunderstood, or in the wrong thread...or maybe even forum.

OR possibly just used to others being assholes. I think him posting a picture was his way of playing nice? Either way, so far EVERYONE on here have posted great pictures. I think anyplace I haven't been to would be exciting for me and dull for others I'm sure. I don't think I would rate anyplace by it's difficulty in getting in, just by how pretty the view was or how "nice" the building was...

I would totally pay money to see THAT.. : )

That was one of Noah's pics. I doubt I'm in the wrong anything. I do however remember some talk about respirators for such an easy building, with no logical reasons. I guess I'm just such an old fart that I automatically discount people's opinions when it comes to such stupid talk like that. We forget that people used to work there every day. Now someone spending a few hours there might be in danger?? These same people seem to be so fixated on pictures. You were there and have many of the same pictures we did. I have never been in it for pictures alone. I'm very big on history, brickwork, danger, a few brews, and most of all enjoying it with friends. I've opened and rapped into shit you could only dream of. But you're right, I am an asshole. The only thing I have a problem with is girls that take stupid safety precautions to either seem cool, or because they actually believe that it is being safe. Cheap ass masks don't do what people think they do. And pictures don't amount to shit. Since you're so big into history, I'd like to hear what you know about the brewery, or any other brewery. Then I'd be impressed.

You don't think a place is dangerous just because people "used" to work there? That makes not sense at all. And why are you knocking someone for trying to be safe? He gave his reasons for wanting to wear a respirator the NEXT time he went in (even though he really shouldn't have to explain) was because of the way he felt after the first time. He said nothing about wanting to look cool.
And yes, people on here are pretty fixated on pictures, and that's a GOOD thing. I love to not only see how creative a person can be, but also their manner of preserving a bit of history. You are so adamant against proving yourself to others, yet you want someone to impress you with their knowledge of history?
Maybe you should stop jumping to conclusions (as you have been wrong this whole thread about what you THOUGHT was going on) and just enjoy the pictures and someone elses take on a place you've already been to.
