Abandoned Brewery pics (first "official" exploration) (updated 9/7/10)

What a rush. I've been in maybe 2 abandoned places in my entire life before this. The original plan was for my friend (etruscan on here) to come up to my place and explore with me and my cousin Matt in the Everett, WA area, but we ended up going down to his place instead because he said he found a pretty cool place to explore.

It was a HUGE place. A complex of buildings about 3 miles long that has been abandoned for nearly a decade. Originally it was a Brewery, but now its just a bunch of run down buildings. We first started walking up to the building around noon yesterday, trying to look for a good POE. The building must have been around 80-90' tall, and it had a latter going all the way to the roof, and at each floor there was a platform and a door.

We tried the bottom door but it was locked, so after deciding the best approach (we were in clear view of the road) I climbed to the second level. I pushed on the door and it swung open. That's when we started exploring every floor, the roof etc. We'll be going back soon to see the other buildings. :-)

Heres some links to the pics (I am NOT a good photographer by any means...just taking some pics for fun. But feel free to let me know what I should do to make them turn out better)-

Overview of the building NEXT to the one we explored. (THIS pic was taken by etruscan, I'm only posting it to give kindof an overview of what it looked like)-

Etruscan is going to post the pics HE took tomorrow (he took most of the better pics that actually show more what the building looked like, I was distracted by wandering around). I can't wait to go again.

HAHA...I told him he should sit on it to make it look like he's shitting. He's like..."should I pull my pants down?" Of course I said yes. I'm stoked for this weekend. Were going back and the other part of it looked less wide-open and more office-like.

By the way, Etruscan has 40 hours left before he can make posts on here, then he'll post his pics.

Instead of waiting, Etruscan asked if I'd post his pics for him. Were both stoked to hear what you all have to say. Here are HIS pictures from the trip:

That's precisely what I thought when I was there! LOL

Can't wait to go back and take some more pics of the other buildings. I would say that we only got to see maybe 1/4 of the entire compound on the first trip. Will post more pics this weekend.

Bout 2.5 hrs. from Everett. I'd tell you but the board rules don't seem to like people saying exact locations.
