Recently found out about the site and I'm from Ottawa. Ive spent the past 12 years hopping freight trains and always loved exploring. Never realized there where actual communities around it. I wouldn't mind connecting with any crews in and around Ottawa.

| | | | Here are some more pictures from the same building I posted earlier. It looks like they've recently started tearing it apart from the inside out. Construction fences have gone up, and the interior is mostly stripped out, with bare floors and walls. There is an obscene amount of asbestos bags lying around. I was kind of disappointed because they managed to strip it out between the time I first found it and the time I first got in. From what I could find this building used to be a Government Geology Lab of some sort.
Sorry for the poor picture quality. I am by no means a photographer. I'm much happier just exploring for the sake of exploring. I just took these as a quick overview.

| | | | If that's the building I think it is, it's been closed up for ages, over 10 years anyway. I imagine it's costing a fortune to demolish. They've been cleaning up the soil around that area as well.
