| | Rhinelander drive in < on 8/26/2010 7:02 PM >
| | | Recently was back in WI for a family gathering. Stumbled upon the Rouman drive in theater in Rhinelander. Surprised to see it still standing as the area around it is well developed. Can't find any info on the theater, except for 1987 being the year it closed. It seemed large compared to other drive-in's I've explored, this might be due to it's over grown state. Fun little explore, looks like high school locals use it as a drinking/hangout spot. Also looks like the snack bar/projection building was used as a haunted house. and now the photos.
thanks to movies by starlight for the ad:

| | | 20 miles east, there is a pretty decent mine over by Lake Metonga, up an old logging trail. If you ever go back. Sugar Bush Hill was pretty sweet too before they tore the fire watch tower down. [last edit 8/26/2010 10:05 PM by peppermintpete - edited 1 times]
