| | | I totally forgot about these pictures that I took in 2007. This is Borthwen Brickworks on the North coast of Anglesey in Wales. The works opened at the beginning of the 20th Century and provided silica bricks from the local yellow clay for the steel industry. The bricks were exported by sea, but tides created difficulties and the works closed at the beginning of the First World War.
