|  | | | I found someone else's wired shutter release in Tennessee near some bats. I think I once stepped on my tripod plate on the way out of a drain. I'd dropped it upstream and caught up to it.

I took a model in there to shoot, and she was all like "Oh! a screwdriver!" I was ecstatic to find it-- especially since it belongs to my roommate

| | | | I lost an old pocket knife in an abandoned farm house, moved away from the area and came back about 5 years later for a visit. Guess what I found when I went to check out that old farm house again.

I'm glad I launched a rescue mission which involved climbing the outside of an elevator shaft to get the the three story roof where it landed because you can't find spare slik sprint pro ii feet anywhere.
Putting the tripod back together was a challenge in its self which took my dad and I, hot glue, pliers, a vice, among other tools. I've left my phone a few places, always got it back.
I could keep a grocery list of the crap I've lost and never recovered.
Gloves (10+ pairs)
Flashlights (5+ lights)
pocket knives (4 to date)
$90 multitool (know where I lost it, never went back for it ... got chased off location and then a few days later an ice/snow storm made me decide fuck it)
One grappling hook + 30' of kermantle 11mm static ... hoped to recover, never did.
I have a tenancy of breaking things too.
I've also lost fears I hope to never recover.
