Wow, that's a surprise - I don't think I've lost anything, if something comes to mind, will post.

I found someone else's wired shutter release in Tennessee near some bats. I think I once stepped on my tripod plate on the way out of a drain. I'd dropped it upstream and caught up to it.

A screwdriver I was carrying around on the floor of an abandonment. I must have dropped it while trying to fix a loose tripod leg and just forgot about it. I took a model in there to shoot, and she was all like "Oh! a screwdriver!" I was ecstatic to find it-- especially since it belongs to my roommate

Holy fuck I'm sick of these threads.

I lost an old pocket knife in an abandoned farm house, moved away from the area and came back about 5 years later for a visit. Guess what I found when I went to check out that old farm house again.

I lost my Nikon S630 with a memory card with 100's of pics on it.
Been up there 20+ times since have not found it
It was a large, grassy area.
(hope there was no compromising pics of myself on that memory card :o )

If anyone here found it, can I has it back please.
I will give reward

I lost my wallet in sleazy motel room. Two weeks later my ex's friend was in the same room with her boyfriend; dropped HER wallet, and found mine under the bed while looking for it. The motel is now abandoned... does that count?

I’m quite positive that you’ve slept with someone uglier than me, and I’m sure I’ve slept with someone hotter than you. So let’s just call it a draw.

10 years. 10 years I've lived like a ball of tumbleweed, tortured, terrified, throbbing between a hundred lives, till I saw for the first time, reflected in it's faint and fragile glow, between the web of ivy and soft bubbly gravel roof, something more, something bigger, a reflection. The woodlands burnt down. But I found myself.

Lost my tripod foot through the grate 90' up at blast furnaces, thought I could get by but then my tripod fell apart without it.

I'm glad I launched a rescue mission which involved climbing the outside of an elevator shaft to get the the three story roof where it landed because you can't find spare slik sprint pro ii feet anywhere.

Putting the tripod back together was a challenge in its self which took my dad and I, hot glue, pliers, a vice, among other tools. I've left my phone a few places, always got it back.

I could keep a grocery list of the crap I've lost and never recovered.

Gloves (10+ pairs)
Flashlights (5+ lights)
pocket knives (4 to date)
$90 multitool (know where I lost it, never went back for it ... got chased off location and then a few days later an ice/snow storm made me decide fuck it)
One grappling hook + 30' of kermantle 11mm static ... hoped to recover, never did.

I have a tenancy of breaking things too.

I've also lost fears I hope to never recover.

The next person to start a "Anyone ever [verb] while exploring" thread gets punched. Seriously, that's enough, people.
