Read somewhere online (can't remember where) that this location's currently undergoing abatement and renovation. Is this true?

The owner told the township that the buildings were already abated prior while the state owned the buildings. In the haunt article that was recently published, they state that the buildings are currently undergoing abatement.

In a recent article of the haunt, they are talking about using the haunt to raise money to preserve the buildings.

In a private email from the contractor, we received the threat that if anybody tries to protest or interfere with the haunt, the buildings will be torn down.

Oh, and they did not have any construction/abatement permits. None whatsoever.

You better get into the buildings before the white collar criminal of an owner demolishes them without permits, too. He is already ripping apart the buildings without permits for his commercial haunted house that he is fradulently advertising as an endeavor to preserve the buildings.
