| | Scrappers and girls without flashlights < on 7/8/2010 4:36 AM >
| | | Recently checked out a rad spot in London, took some pics learning to use the new DSLR. Shortly after the first venture into an AWESOME three storey room containing four massive containers with dreamy yellowy light, I was approached by crunchy footsteps. When I saw the flashlight beam coming through the door I tried to turn off my headlamp and blend in, but like an idiot I couldn't find the button because I had it on upside down. Fortunately it turned out to be a very friendly scrapper who pointed me to the office, so off I went! Exploring my way to the top, I hear giggles and children laughing echoing through the halls, like a bad alone in the dark episode. Obviously I followed it, and scared the living shit out of what happened to be three girls using the flash on a 10D to light their way. They kept running into me and screaming their heads off so we came up with the safe word "banana bread" to let them know it was me, lol. Met up later to join in the photoshoot (and get my flashlight back from RandomNils), just in time to moderate their meeting the, shall we politely say, rough around the edges scrapper dude. The way to the top was crazy full of stuff to explore, I'm sure I missed stuff but it was awesome. Anyways, check it out. 1. I literally took this photo 50 times, first pic with a DSLR. Eventually I just gave up and settled for the closest image to what I was trying to achieve.

4.Ever find girls in a hotbox while exploring?
5. Spot the photographers?
6.Pipe dream flashback
7. Cool shadows.

9. 10Dgirl catching me trying to look creepy but making me smile. Almost works better?

11. It was nice to be on the roof where the wind sounded like wind and not people running around in the rooms all around me.
12. Key to the Votator room. Point for the first person who knows what a votator is, and a frosty (domestic) beer for the bearer of this key!

| | | Why thank you, inspired by Calvin and Hobbes, as Metawaffle so astutely pointed out. I kept wondering, what would I do if I were to walk in on this scene?

AHHHH Hahahahaha I know the exact one you're talking about now! My next tattoo will be those two, or perhaps spaceman spiff.

| | | Christ, what an asshole. ?? Where the fuck did that come from?!?
We all had ostriches. My dad had an ostrich farm! I remember one day someone came in and said the high altitude bombing of Kosovo had been a limited success, so we all went out and celebrated… by killing an ostrich and boiling it in kiwi fruit. |
