I certainly didn't. It took me 4 years of practice and networking to be this dickish.

Dickishness aside... if you had taken the days you had since you signed up on this site to read through the Rookie Forum and its FAQs, and read the Northeast forum to get a feel for its culture, you could have avoided this entire thread and its responses. However, you made your first posting a request for a handout and offered nothing in return (Offer to meetup? Posting of photos to show you've done this at least once before? Example of some specific research you've done into a particular building?). And yet we're the asshole for calling you on it. You're thinking otherwise is your problem. This isn't the Great Lakes forum, sweetie.

I didn't come here for a fucking critique! I came here in hopes people would want to network and meet some other people out there interested in the same things I am! But I get nothing but bullshit from everyone on here! If this is how you people are I guess I don't wanna do this! I can't image being so self centered!

Listen, kid... you've been given good advice... there is a rookie forum for a reason. Take advantage of it (or continue to throw a hissyfit.. I don't care either way). I guarantee you that while your request for a handout would still have been refuted, it wouldn't have been met with some open hostility. Suck it up, and start again knowing now what you should have known then.

Dr. Seuss would be crucified here if that rhyming bastard tried to request a list of abandoned buildings in Whoville.

I guess there is no sense of community out there anymore!

who the fuck are you to be on this website for 5 minutes and say something so idiotic?

lemme ask you a question: can i have your phone number and address?

if the answer is "no", it's probably for the same reason we aren't giving you the address and directions to our favorite abandonments in your area. WE DON'T KNOW YOU FROM ADAM. you are a faceless nobody to us. find locations on google or flickr, post some shit, get some positive feedback, and then ask people who gave you that feedback in private, lest ye get flamed like last weekend's BBQ.

THX FOR COMING TO UER, HAVE A GREAT DAY

Did you ever find a Kirk on your own?
Did you ever walk through grass overgrown?

Did you ever try exploring before now?
Well, we can do it. We know how.

If you never did, you should.
These things are fun and fun is good.
