| | | Had seen this place before while it was still operating, had no idea it was shut down. It used to produce glass packaging..the grounds were littered with tons of glass shards from mainly bottles. There were people inside removing stuff, I'm sure to prep for demo, so I didn't stick around too long but I did see the entire place..need to go back later in the day. Enjoy the pics, taken with my cell.
Not sure if this is in the db yet, but security=fence around perimeter. Work crews during the day, unsure about security at night.

Here's a lockpick. It might be handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you. |

| | | it's abandoned now? i did a run with dresden and a few others last summer and it was still real active. we heard the guards' walkie talkies getting closer and peaced through the trailer yard. then waved all our lights through the yard to fuck with the guards. worked nicely. | | | Not sure what they are turning this place into..the transformers were in an electrical shed, all the wires running to them have been removed so they will be gone in the next little while I'm sure.

thats what i thought. or possibly just a filming location. i recall something about the new resident evil movie being shot there or something. last i was there back in feb there were a couple of rental trucks and quite a few people moving stuff in and out. i assumed film crew.

| | | Somebody posted a few weeks/months ago a filming company bought it so it's probably going to be used as a studio.

Not abandoned, just not a glass factory anymore. Transitioning to another use.

| | | I worked there for 8 years when it was Consumers Glass. Huge place. If you could get into the "blow room" where they made the bottles it'd be a cool place for pics.

| | | The first shot looks more like the lathe shop. The second one looks more like it. Would make a great "battleship engine room" scene for a movie. I can see why it's turning into a studio. It was one hot fucking place to work!

| | | Well it still has an interesting exterior but as for the inside, well she is completely gutted and now it just looks like an empty warehouse.
