Back story: DJ Craig came to town a few week ago looking for "Underground Knoxville". ("Underground Knoxville"-the area under a certain street that was created when the city built over the existing street.) After doing more research and actually being in the places the articles mention, I'm starting to think "Underground Knoxville" wasn't what we thought it was. I'll do a better explanation later when I go back and take photos. Technically, DJ Craig and I have been in "Underground Knoxville", but we didn't know it since we were expecting mole people, I guess.

Present story: A friend and I went looking for another entrance to this "Underground". I found a tunnel and then got all excited, but no.
This is a mix of two trips: one with a bud, then another with the UER members gretschdiva and Jordi.

(Sorry, about the quality of the photos.)
1. A tunnel :] exciting

2. A few rooms

3. A freezer

4. I left a octopus paperdoll for the next explorer.

5. Heading the opposite way

6. Wait, I think I know where we are.

7. It's just the Ministry Center.

Moral: Not every tunnel in Knoxville leads to a magic underground city. It's disappointing.

Hey, a disappointing tunnel is better than no tunnel at all. I dig it.
