Trust me, I didn't think it'd be true, but when I coded my last PHP-heavy site, if you didn't prebuffer everything, browsers that took longer to render would actually slow the server down. I want to pinpoint which particular SQL statements cause the most lag... surely you've noticed that sometimes a page takes more than a minute to come up, or you get the "page exceeded gen time" server error. i've been trying to fix this. the numbers should be pretty small. but if you see one that's over 1000 ms, please PM me the page it happened on and the debug info from the bottom. huskies - such fluff.
