| | | Hey, Was out for a wander last night and went by the old GE Davenport place. Not much left to see, although building #10 was pretty cool. Then headed home across Symington and discovered a squatters pad in an abandoned silo near Keele. Lots of places to check out still around here, glad I moved.

| | | Definitely, have done a couple walks in the area now and love that Tower is so close by. Although I am thinking of heading out to the Kennedy before it's gone as well.

and THE squatters paradise- "Cadet Cleaners"!
They say "you can't judge a book by its cover!" I say "YES you can, if the cover has a girl on it with a cock in her mouth, its PORN!" if she's 18 and the cock is black, its GREAT porn! |

| | | Junction is good for exploring. Also has some really nice little shops on that one stretch of road. I especially like that Beam place that restores pieces.

| | | Chairtex to be honest doesn't interest me although I have taken a couple exterior photos of it. Next venture out will be the Kennedy before it's gone. Won't have my camera though, just a phone for pics

| | | Welcome to the neighbourhood, ZenCanadian! Note that GE Davenport isn't in the Junction, since the neighbourhood doesn't extend east of Old Weston Road.

The retail on Dundas Street West has improved dramatically over the past decade. Annette is also a great major street in the area, with perhaps the highest density of churches in Toronto. St. Clair Avenue West is also seeing a transformation with the streetcar ROW project. The industrial areas still have their gritty feel with some decent to good locations to explore. There's even a drain.

| | | just wait.... eventually all the interesting areas get trampled by condozilla. It happened to Liberty Village. What used to be abandoned factory land and the back end of an auto impound is now a starbucks next to a blockbuster. Hopefully the Junction stays interesting for a bit longer, but sooner or later, everything old will have to make way. Then what's left? Mimico and New Toronto? Hamilton? yeah... Hamilton has a long time to go before it gets converted.
