| | | It's a wonderful, old, gothic style building. Has a castle look from outside. Was home to the House of Commons for 6 years after the Parliament fire in 1916. Reputed to be haunted on upper floors, by some native Indian fellow perhaps attached to some of the relics if I recall correctly. Although it was falling apart (bricks etc. falling to endanger people) and badly needed much work, I'm somewhat saddened to see some of the modernization look. I've been there with my kids a few times; We'll be sure to investigate it again this summer.

| | | Didn't realize it had needed so much work. Always seemed to be under construction. Loved going there as a kid (though not quite as much as the science and tech museum).

| | | I lived in Ottawa a couple summers ago, but never had the chance to visit the museum
I love the "urbex" look to this photo- its like I'm armchair exploring
And when you finally disappear, We'll just say you were never here. |
