If it helps, I bought that same 2-pack of lights from Costco about 2 months ago. I use one a lot as I lurk around outside in the wee hours, the other sits at the ready next to a firearm, unused. I'm still on the original set of batteries with both, and both still light up just fine.

Sounds like a different version for sure.

More on this light. I like it. On a recent group explore Bonnie used it n everyone liked it. About that 2 sec delay? That is just ridiculous, it's more like 1.91 seconds...Jeesh! But you compensate that with a double tap and hold. Also an easy way off is to just hold for a sec then release.

But this about its Mtn Biking potential. This from DX fits it like a glove. Has held up great. B4 I use to wrap my Mini-Mag in tape to get a good fit.

The question is not when are we gonna stop, It's who's gonna stop us?
