Oh awesome, I thought he was an orphan but that would make sense too. I'm curious to know what the fraternal order was, I've heard the Elk or some shit like that but it'd be cool if it was a Freemason lodge. But hey I learn something new about that place all the time.

And I totally missed the lockers too of all the times I've been there lol...guess I gotta go back and check it out again soon.

And Thanks Altaria! Yeah this definitely a place not to be missed...one of my favs as well.

Actually a few ppl did die there when it was ran by the "woodmen of the world" as a womans home / orphanage. There is a small cemetery somewhere in the local area from it. I've seen pics of it, but we have never been able to find it.

the lockers are in the basement of the building in the back. Very easy to miss.

Oh ok cool. Yeah I guess what I read was that the child was the only unusual death in the house or out of the ordinary...and that would make since a widows home would have some older women dying from time to time. I've been to the local cemetery as well or one of them anyway but didn't see a section for it either but I didn't spend much time there and it could of been the wrong one.
Not sure if it's the same cemetery but I heard theres a grave at one of the local graveyards in Sherman that glows at night in the distance but I heard they had to cover it up with bushes because it was getting too much attention and too many people were going at night to check it out but when you get closer it stops glowing. I could have the wrong town too, haven't read up on it in a long time cuz I didn't see a point in trying to go find it if it was covered up.

Anyway guess when I go back I'll spend more time in that building in the back then.

Oh thanks man! Yeah while daytime is better for photos (unless you do long exposures) it's easier miss things in that place at night but I gotta say it's a lot more fun at night time for sure. I almost went on Halloween one time just for fun but i figured a lot of other people might be doing that as well and cops might be patrolling the area heavily because the only time I've almost gotten caught was while exploring on or just before Halloween....so we went the day after lol. Found a lot of Halloween candy in there still good and in the wrapper too so apparently some other people did have the same idea...although it could of been fun trying to scare some strangers lol.

I looked it up and found this-

http://www.txgenwe.../ceme-woodman.html

the page has a lot of it's history and a list of all the ppl that passed away while the place was still open.
