Honestly, go with the Sigma 10-20...

id love to have the canon, but the sigma is the one im aiming for. at 4-500$ less, its a bit more in my price range.

i bought the canon 10-22 used last summer for 650. best purchase i ever made. i don't know if you've thought about it, but getting stuff used has always worked out really well for me.

Sorry, what was that you were saying about forever alone?

If you can pick up the Canon for $650 used (I've seen it as low as $600) vs buying the Sigma for $590 (after shipping, taxes)...then, I'd go with the used Canon. That's just me.

i bought mine on kijiji. met up with the guy, tested it out, took a few snapshots while talking with him. if i didn't feel like it was a good lens i could have just walked away, but i tested it out, and inspected it well, so i was sure it was a legitimate deal.

And got my film shots back today, and scanned them in this evening. The film I used was "lomography" branded film I got at Urban Outfitters. The film it turns out is Shanghai GP3, all shot with a Rolleiflex TLR with a Carl Zeiss Planar 2.8F lens.

End conclusions, not a bad film when run through a decent camera, but I'll stick to my usual film types.

Not bad considering you didn't know what to expect. I think it looks good.

we crept along and hopped the fence where we could find the most cover, then made a break for it, once inside we weren't too worried because that place is massive... and we were high up enough to watch any move they could make... they did see us... when we were climbing the fence on the way out and they just said "get lost" basically.

Do you mean they had noticed you before you got out of the building, or do you mean they caught you in the process of getting out?
From the picture it seems that you got there from the west side, that's the best way?

Places where it's physically more difficult to get in but have less live security personnel (like Malt) make me much less nervous.

Where "Process of getting out" = About 6 inches from exiting the property.

Understandable. I personally find that a ladder is often much friendlier, and more understanding than another person.

Even if it's a homemade rope ladder.

The two of us went there today. All went well. We encountered a feral cat (where hobos used to live in the north-east corner of the plant). The "crystal things" in the secondary control room are still intact. The main control room is located in the northern wing and is quite accessible in several ways.

It was fun getting in the plant, lots of adrenalin, but much easier than a month ago due to opulent vegetation.

One minute after we got out we were passed by a security car.
