It seems there are still plenty of security measures, though. I spoke with someone who spent time in there recently and ended up in county jail for the night.

I'd imagine all the apartment doors are still locked even though the apartments are empty, but I'd say it's totally worth a night in county jail to get up in there if you could get into each of the apartments, but that's way more difficult

Somebody get in there! Man i was just in seattle a month ago - i wish this had happened then
