|  | | | | The DC-3 N-34 is a "retired" flight inspection aircraft that is used as an aviation awareness static display at air shows around the country. Open to visitors, the exhibit is a beautiful 1940's vintage aircraft that was one of the most successful ever built. The DC-3 proudly displays aviation education and pilot information, tells the history of FAA and CAA (a predecessor agency), and contains information about FAA's contributions to both domestic and international aviation. |
^^I took that from some website I found on this DC-3 that flew into the airport I work at today. I called down to the FBO ramp after I got off work tonight and asked if I could come take pictures, which they obliged. It was a beautiful bird.

And yes, I know, some of these pictures are unlevel, but I have a terrible tripod and will be upgrading shortly... largely in part because of how it affected some of these pictures.

I could actually get fired for that chloe so don't give them any ideas lol.

I was going to ask how you got on the, what is that, tarmac. Those are amazingly lit. As for the horizons, why not do some cropping in photoshop?
