From the looks of what we found, the person who owned it was the owner or manager of an automotive repair shop in Chichester. (It's still under investigation that he was interested in and/or produced child porn.)The house was extremely cool. After being there a few times, we discovered that the entire house was actually a huge pipe organ, controlled from the organ in the foyer and projected through the music boxes in the attic. Unfortunately, the organ is no longer there, but there is a huge open space and a "start/stop" switch directly next to it. It looks like it could have been a dumbbell system or a fire place, but after much research from the turbine in the attic and the hole in the floor that led to nothing, we established it used to hold a pipe organ. The man who owned the place was very much interested in musical arts, based on the posters we found in the attic and the organ. If you ever get a chance to peak in, it's definitely worth seeing.
