I'm glad to see that whale slide restored, for a long time it was in really bad shape... I'm guessing those other pics were taken in Catoosa also?

The others were taken in Shamrock. The jail cell held Pretty Boy Floyd when he attempted to rob the town's bank vault.

I want to make it to Shamrock. I hear it's pretty darn neat. Catoosa looks like it might be worth a stop at too.. hrm. Damn living in the capitol.

I'm in Moore.. It's a great day trip. Following 66 has its perks. We should hit it up together some time. I'm sure I don't live far from you.

Oh wow, really? That would be cool. I would be up for that sometime! Moore, eh? I live on the OKC and Moore border. If I had lived a cross the street, I would have been OKC schools, luckily I got to go to Moore schools. Haha

I think in both sets you have a pretty good eye! I really like how you see things.. like your 'points of view' I guess you could call it. I wouldn't say you've gotten 'better' than the ones in the other thread, because I think in both you have great angles and they're all good shots of what you're seeing and you are good at showing a place how you see it in both sets.. they're just different styles. So that's cool.. you now have 2 really cool styles of photography. I hope that makes sense. Just how I see it.

Some of those locations look familiar to me..

I agree with Happie, the styles are very different, not really one better over the other. I'm really intrigued by the whale, it's kind of awesome.

I appreciate the feedback, guys.. Maybe I'll actually gather the courage to post in the photography section sometime!

Thanks again.

Shamrock also has the U-Drop-Inn which is not abandoned but still amazing. It used to be a restaurant and service station but serves as a museum now.

I used to live in Claremore and worked in Tulsa and drove by that whale all the time. I took a few photos of it years ago. But you have great photos of different points of view on it. Like it!

...the wings on my shoes shrank now the moths won't eat my kidneys, when i shake my state capital it only yields 3 fairy napkins, but how do i know my banana slippers are like water boats because when the moon winks it burns my hamster punches, and that's how you get to llama school rowing your canoe backwards up main street when the front bumper falls off, do mermaids get to drink orange juice?
