Seriously though, what you'd find in a cornerstone is usually a couple of bucks worth of coins and maybe stamps, some newspaper articles that have more or less crumbled away, a bunch of lists of names that you never heard of before, and a bunch of similar historical documents. Just the kind of thing that a bunch of kids would use to light a fire after pocketing the change.
