These pictures are from last fall from a place that should look familiar to a lot of people. I know it's been shot to death but each and every pic I've seen of this place is different than the last, thus keeping things interesting. Apparently they're going to demolish it soon and possibly only preserve part of structure as a historical landmark. However it will be surrounded by hipster condos and trendy shops and ruined just like every other cool spot in the Burgh.

This is my first critique so be kind! I love constructive criticism just as much as compliments so tell me what you like and what I need to work on. Thanks for looking.

Horrible jpg compression on that last one, but aside from that, stunning. You manage to display quite well how VAST that place is. Shame about it's fate though.

I knew something looked off with that panorama. I'm not sure if that happened in photoshop or because it's not the original and it was resized. I need to get the original off my old comp. It definately looks better here...

It's because it was resized. Photoshop wouldn't leave such obvious squares throught the entire image. This is more than likely a fault with Flickr.

But yes, that link is MUCH better, I love the plant in the right with the huge leaves. That link brings this set up to 5 stars. Thank you for posting them!

Those clouds really make the building pop and set the tone. I love it.

Sorry to bump this but I recently revisited Carrie along with Cagedpsycho and I thought I'd contribute a few more photos. I wanted to experiment with sharpness/depth of field with my new 50mm 1.8 lens, hence why a lot of these are close ups. Let me know what you think.

I'm liking number 5. Had fun that day. We need to explore again!

The caged being inside of you must break free from his shackles, for our partial sanity or pseudo-sanity, if so applies, cannot contain it forever without repercussion of mental breakdown.
