Its 50+ year old fungus / mold...it was the strangest place we have ever been. Two stories down, 85.F and very humid. Behind me in this tunnel the 3rd floor was flooded. It was so hot and humid it was like a rain forest, moisture dripping off the sealing and walls.
No really, its just one of my experiments to take over the world. MUHAHAHA
