Yeah, I saw your updated run with the landscaping. Interesting.
To me, It looks like the supports were build then the houses moved from somewhere else and placed on top.
Perhaps the height is a requirement of their insurance company or the mortgage insurance company.

I'd like to see this place when it was still in operation. Are there any pictures of it while it was still in use? I'm guessing probably no seeing as it was top secret but you never know.. Maybe the Russians photographed it anyhow. All them soviet sleeper agents and such.
