The South East Needs more Drains In The DB.

We really do need more drains in the DB for the south east. There are only four in all of NC. Good drains are hard to find and if I could become a full member, I have lots of drains I'd love to post. I think we need to make an effort to up our drains around here, because the DB can be great if you're in a dry spell.

I know of a few in this area I've not put in the DB. My reasons vary from 'uneager to do the writeup' to a few where an increase in traffic will encourage the safety department to install outfall grates. Come draining with me when we get another dry spell.

Also the southeast terrain is unfriendly to drains, as I guess you've found by now.

lol. ;) The easiest way to full membership is to meet up with some full members. Organize an expedition to some new place one weekend, and I'm sure at least few of us will show up.

The DB is kind of sparse on drains around here. With buildings and drains alike, people tend to not post those locations that are either special or sensitive, in order to avoid spoilage by the nefarious and uncouth. In those cases, word of mouth between trusted associates is the preferred method of communication.

That's right, bitches. I said uncouth.

edit: Ohhh.. AppleSnail beat me to it. Apologies for any repeated info.

Does Charlotte not count as part of NC, then?

I'd love to do some meet ups with people, I just have never got around to it. My explorations tend to be off the cuff. A lot of the time I drains by myself, wich is foolish but also even more exciting.

As for Aurelie, I'm not sure what you mean. I counted Charlotte and it's still only for. (?)

But anyways, if anyone is ever looking for a draining buddy I'm always up.

I can't remember what's visible in the DB for non-full-members. My experience with the thing is that meeting the people who made the entries is FAR more rewarding. Also, you don't have to join the a-club, there's enough As in your name.

did we agree on an amount? At least 3 "a"'s in the name and they are good?
