Does anyone know where to find IMP rations? there were a good amount on Ebay a few months ago. All I can find now is the American MRE's which are less then tasty.

I don't mind the civilian MRE's, they're the ones that come in a clear sack. I can get IMP's from a surplus store close to here, but its a bit far away from you :p

You might be able to get them at the surplus store in Elmsdale. But don't quote me on that. It's hard to find IMP's around without being in the RCF or cadets.

They're extremely difficult to get a hold of even for cadet units that want them for field weekends. I'd suggest making friends with any and all surplus store owners near you. Even if they don't get them in, they might know of other people or places to find them.

With the current activities over-seas, the CF is using all of its IMP stocks. Like already mentioned, even the Cadet movement is hard pressed to get any issued.

Of all the ones I've ever had, I'd say the '98 IMP's are definitely the most tasty.

Aren't they not supposed to be for sale to civilians?

They're not supposed to be, but if you know people, then it's very possible that you could just get them for free.

I don't believe you can get anything even remotely close to cheap at MEC
