I don't think there any buildings as big as the one in your shots. great work.

It's actually in Kingston- it was also known as Penrose Asylum as well.

Two of Canada's highest security prisons are in the city and just outside. Along with five other correctional facilities within and around. Prime waterfront property too. The neighbourhoods around KPP are some of the oldest and richest housing. Sir John A MacDonald lived in the hood.
It is where the top trained doctors in Canada come from as well. That combination in the early 1900s lead to some serious research.
In one of the Queen's University buildings there is this photo of doctors taking a part a human and holding up [his] body parts as the pose for the photo. circa 1920s or sometime around there.
