NW FL Old Airfield?

Hi,
I was looking around Google Earth and came across an interesting old airfield west of the Choctawhatchee National Forest. Rough fix of 30*39'57N 86*20'58W. There is a lot of other neat stuff to the SW of the place too - possibly a tank testing area or old aerial gunnery range?
Anybody know what the place is and what goes on there?
I get down to that neck of the woods from time to time and was wondering if it is explorable...
Any/all info appreciated!

That's the Switzerland Airfield and Bombing Range, I think.

The airfield I believe is used for maneuvers and helicopter training for Eglin and Hurlburt Field. I would not advise going there, the MP will get 'ya.

Well the coordinates provided put this well within the boundry of Elgin AFB, a very active base in the western FL panhandle. The link to the abandoned airfield is an old army airfield just south of Jacksonville.

I did some digging around on the site kindly suggested by /-/ooligan and as best I can tell the two fields are Wagner and Baldsiefen. I suppose they are part of Eglin which must be bigger than I thought. Methinks I will be staying away from them...
Thanks to all who helped,

I had to drive up there a couple times when I was stationed at Eglin in 2005ish. The airfield is closed, though it may be used occasionally for special ops training (probably helicopter night vision goggle stuff). The large cleared area to the southeast is an active bombing range. The Air Armament Center at Eglin AFB tests new, high-tech guided weapons out there (Sensor Fused Weapon, JDAM, etc.).

They didn't drop stuff out there every day, but it went active at least once a week or so IIRC. There is an observation tower at the southeast end of the airfield
(you can kind of see it if you look close on google maps), and they have a few air-conditioned trailers that the test engineers hang out in on days that they drop bombs.

The whole place is pretty surreal. There are old destroyed tanks and such laying around on the dirt roads that weave across the range. But it's not really the kind of place you'd want to go if you weren't supposed to be there.

Eglin range patrol runs security out there. They're bored as hell 99 percent of the time, and they'd be... "enthusiastic" if they caught someone sneaking around.
