Wow you guys!
| | | Richmond/DC area folk: Dec 19+20 < on 12/11/2009 10:18 PM >
| | | I'm not trying to start a major meet-up or anything, but I'm dropping my wife off in Richmond the night of Dec. 18th so she can do a "girl's weekend out" with her mom and sister. Then I'm meeting them all at her parents' house just outside of DC on the 21st for Christmas festivities. This leaves me with two days all by my lonesome in VA/MD; the 19th and 20th. I'll be driving around aimlessly, checking out small towns and backwoods and what not, seeing what I can find. If anybody from the area will be out exploring, or wants to tag along, I could meet up anywhere in about a 3-4 hour radius of DC. Just let me know- I've got a few itinerary items but things are still pretty flexible. I'm not looking to do any major ninja moves, but I'm up for big drains, historic buildings, derelict industry, and the like. A nice, laid-back yule tide exploring trip. Feel free to reply or PM me if you're interested or just want more info. Good Merlinpeen to all, -Avius

| | | Got to hang out and explore with my good friend Avius today. Great time! Too bad it was shortened by the blizzard.

It was a great time. And now I get to explore the snow in my in-law's back yard!

We checked out some great old agrarian ruins in the Richmond vicinity. I'll get some pics up in a few days- it looks like I'll have plenty of free time!
