| | | I'm sure everyone on this board has posted pics of the Fort Worth Stockyards... but what the hey, I'll add a few more!
Tunnel underneath Exchange Street
Snake beyond the tunnel underneath Exchange Street
An iron door underneath other debris in the tunnel underneath Main Street
An abandoned weigh station
Livestock tunnels underneath the shops closest to the slaughterhouses (photo by my son, David (10))
An artistic depiction of one who met its doom in the livestock tunnel
Another shot of the livestock tunnels by David
David is convinced he caught a moving orb. I think it's a bug.
My favorite shot over by the cattle chutes. I took my son to the stockyards just to roam. We also spent New Year's Eve night at the Stockyards Hotel last year, in the Bonnie and Clyde Suite. It was lovely! [last edit 11/23/2009 2:11 AM by twisterintexas - edited 1 times]

| | | Great pix. Get any of the remodeled office building that used to be Spaghetti Warehouse? Yall should have at least walked around the Swift plant and gotten some shots from just outside the gate.

| | | Yes, I do have shots of the Swift Plant, and the old Swift Admin Building, but they're nothing spectacular (I mean my photos, not the places). I just came back from poking around at the stockyards in St. Louis. They have one large ruin of an Armour plant that is not really secured, so access was pretty easy. I'll post the pics when I get them downloaded.
