I already have some tenative plans to meet up with some folks in Knoxville, but I'd love to meet up with others in the Nashville or Chattanooga area during my stay. In my 5 minute search, I did learn there are a lot more nuclear plants in TN besides Watts Bar, and most of them are near Chattanooga.

If all else fails, I know of some sites along US127 I found as a kid. I'm going to check them out again, if they are still standing and/or abandoned. Not very exciting, but they hold some sentimental value to me.

I'll be driving to TN Wednesday. Thanksgiving with my family Thursday. From there, my plans are open for whatever. Tenatively leaving Dec 5th.

i don't think you could really get an address for it anyway, seeing as how it doesn't receive mail anymore or even have a real road leading up to it. even though the pics from the government spiders thread are public, i don't think many of us are up for posting an exact location for it. wikipedia will get you all the information you need to know to find it if you want in badly enough. besides, you can see the lights from the cooling tower quite a ways off - you don't need a street address. =)

Sorry I was not trying to be an ass, that's just the the way it is! I'm just saying, anyone who knows isn't talking, plus the address (which would conceivably bring you to the front gate) is what you would want to avoid for such a site. 
Anyway I hope you guys find some cool places and have a good time exploring. I can't wait till I'm back in town and able to hit some stuff again.
