Just saw this in the FWST. Anyone familiar with the place? The description sounds interesting. It's on Main St, so it's not part of the Swift complex.

Cause of fire near Stockyards still undetermined Thursday
BY BILL MILLER

Fire investigators on Thursday still did not know what caused the blaze that collapsed the roof of an abandoned building late Wednesday, just south of the Fort Worth Stockyards.

The fire was reported around 9:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of North Main Street, said Lt. Kent Worley, Fire Department spokesman.

The building was vacant and had no power, and it had been unoccupied for years, Worley said. It largely went unnoticed in recent years because its foundation was below street level, and its outer wall looked more like a fence, Worley said.

He said the building was known to occasionally house transients and it was chilly Wednesday night.

But, he noted, investigators on Thursday had not yet found any evidence of people living there or starting fires.

The fire created extensive damage to the building; Worley said investigators may never determine how the flames started.

J'ai toujours fait une prière à Dieu, qui est fort courte.
La voici: "Mon Dieu, rendez nos ennemis bien ridicules!"
Dieu m'a exaucé.
