|  | | | This Tuesday, Nov 17, a few of us are getting together to watch the Leonid meteor shower. We're going to this place near Johnson City, TN:

There will be a new moon that day. The location we're going to is very rural so there shouldn't be much light pollution. I'm leaving from Johnson City around 2:30 AM. The meteor shower is supposed to peak just before dawn. If anyone else is interested in coming, get in touch with me.

We went for the Leonid meteor shower but only saw a couple of meteors after staying up all night. It was quite cloudy.

| | | | This place is so amazing. I would have so been there if I hadn't been so busy saving lives that night. I hate it was so cloudy, too. I'm heading back there very soon. It's one of those places that day or night, it's spectacular.
