| | | Hey there. I'm new to the forums and thought I'd add some of my recent explorations. Go easy on me. I'm learning! I don't know the history on this house. I was actually just driving around exploring and came across it. It even has the outhouse in back! There was a fairly new model television inside so I know it wasn't vacated until after the 90's and there was no indoor bathroom so I'm guessing they still used the outhouse. BTW I had to relinquish my camera in a recent break up so all my pics are taken with my cell phone. Sorry. [last edit 11/12/2009 7:51 PM by WannaBButch - edited 1 times]

| | | You might think about getting a tripod. That'll cut down on the blurry pictures.

| | | It was mentioned that the pictures were from a cell phone.. It would be interesting to see if someone made a cell phone tripod..

| | | Lol. I have a tripod.... just don't have a real camera. I live in a small town, in a house that was built before the one I took pics of was ever even imagined. All my money is sunk into this house and surviving and I don't have much left over to purchase a camera. I borrow MY camera from my ex when I can. There's a guy on Abandonedok that wants to sell me his cybershot and if I have enough cash after I get paid I'll purchase it and go back to take better pics.

The important point here is that she went out and explored an abandoned location, took pictures of it, and came here to share them with us. Thats what this is all about, really. And for that I say nice job. Excellent pictures are nice, but they're not always the main point of exploring. Especially to someone just getting started.

| | | Thanks Ratticus. I don't think he meant to be offensive though. I'm always open to constructive criticism. I'm a queer in Oklahoma so it's required lol. BTW my favorite pet who is sadly deceased was named Ratticus.

| | | Welcome to the South Forums. Decent pix for a cell phone. If that's a picture of the outhouse, I bet it's tough to use in the winter time, especially when the wind in blowing.... but that would make the smell more tolerable. LOL

| | | One trick I have always used in low light shots with out a tripod is hold the camera up against something, like a door jam or some high up object. That will help stabilize it and hopefully do away with most all of the blurriness. Or you could just duct tape your phone to your tripod ;) [last edit 11/13/2009 1:29 PM by Mr_Fiend - edited 1 times]

| | | Nice place! Was that a nest under the kitchen sink or where the previous owner stored their stick collection?
I'm a blatant waste of time and resources. |

| | | I myself wondered if maybe a beaver had moved in. The rest of the "stick collection" is in the outhouse toilet.
