|  | | | Just wondering if anybody could give me some directions to half decent locations in the Niagara Region. I haven't been out for a while and it would be a real nice treat to go somewhere new and maybe post up my first set of pictures.
However not being a full member limts what I see in the database and I'm not sure if im missing out on much.
Anyways thanks for the help and directions, look forward to the exploring.

The "I go exploring every Sunday" is key. Few, if any, explorers will ever hand out a laundry list of EPIC SAH-WHEET SPOTS over the internet to anyone they don't know. Find a Sunday you can meet this guy and have fun.

I fail to see why he wouldnt? I thought the whole point of this site was to help fellow explorers expand there hobbys. Not force eachother to meet before revealing a location.

its not as simple as walking in and asking for level 3 building tips. you have to earn your spot. not to put you down or anything but your post count is like 80 and you've been here for over a year. you have to post, get to know people get involved in discussions. your probably a great guy but we don't know that.
Its a risk im not willing to take.

You can also wander the Maid of the Mist docks at the bottom of this incline and walk on/among the boats since it's November now.

It's like having a sweet blueberry picking spot. You're not going to hand over your best blueberry spot to a stranger on the internet. He might end up selling your shit on the side of the highway at $25 a basket.
If you meet the person, maybe you find out they're a sweet little old lady who likes to bake blueberry pies for her church's bake sale and you have no qualms sharing your location with her.
Same principle but intended to keep places from becoming vandalized, burnt or picked over.

im still not exactly sure what post count has to do with whether someone is a worthy explorer or not. it could mean anything, from them being a bit too busy, having forgot password information to being out of town where there is little to no internet access. Though asking for locations after a year seems a little silly. so i would say that exploring more is more important than increasing post count. personally im not gonna give a rats ass what my post count is in a year wether its 50 or 200. im here to explore and see for my own eyes what the world has in store for me, and get some nice photos while im at it.
i think a better way to prove yourself is to read everything you can about methods and ethics and such, and then just meet the locals a few times.
this is of course just coming from a 1 month user . so maybe im totally wrong but thats how i see it, and thats how im gonna roll.
