P.S. draining tip: with alcoholic handwash you can write, that stuff keeps burning for 2 minutes and then you can make nice pics of flaming letters! I've only tried this on my balcony though.

My camera stopped working, my phone stopped working, I got soaked and even tho it was summer and really hot I was freezing in the drain.
The worst part is that even people were talking about the drop-off I went off to use the bathroom and when I got back it was my turn and I was last so I step and next thing I know I am underwater WTF?
I will defeat that which was once untouchable only so that I may now move on |

This caused us to use the next available manhole to exit. And that manhole was ten feet from one of canada's busiest streets! And in front of an icecream parlor where there were a TON of kids and their parents who seemed to get a kick out of watching 8 people (two small females in the ranks) come out of the ground like ninja turtles.
That part was pretty sweet.

aww well we didn't have to exit you know I was happy to just continue soaked or not..
that was hella funny tho.. I think I need to invest in a good spy cam to peek through manhole covers tho in case that should happen again

Plus the look on their faces was priceless. We made their day.

| | | | When I was 16 or so I set off an explosion in 1' diameter side tunnel. It was for a cheesy horror film we were making and the little tunnel was suppose to simulate the 6' main vein the story took place in. A miniature effect. So the thing goes off and as I'm taping the thing the pipe acts as rifle barrel sending all the debris toward me. The shrapnel missed me by inches.

I lifted by head before I had fully exited the pipe, dragging the top of my head along the rugged concrete for the last few feet. It exposed my skull

standing an inch away from a sudden overhead gush of toilet/tampon/poo water probably would have ruined my life, but luckily i was far enough away... and mouth was closed. mmm. mixed-drains.
thankfully all i really have to complain about is emerging, soaked, in -50 weather, without a change of clothes.
