Haha, yeah. The mental one. Im not for sure if its completely gone. What photos I have seen look horribly decayed. That sounds really awesome... Im not in hover all that often. Im a bad daughter.. Dont visit that much. I will be sometime in december. Probably too far off, but you know. Hope you find something fun. Have you tried dragging your nonuer friends? Mine get freaked sometimes, but thats probably cuz I hide and jump out at them...

Well i guess its the one place around then that i havent been to. We need to find more places, but here in alabama there just isnt anything built it seems. I may plan a trip to mississipi or florida just to explore some places. Ive heard there are some potetially huge underground storm drains leading out to the ocean though under mobile.

Team Shadow and Big Gay Jason are legends of Bryce tasteless graffiti fame.

Bryce which is properly called the Jemison Building, does not have any signs of going anywhere anytime soon other then deeper into decay. It's in the worst shape of any building I have been in.

I think i recognize your avatar, was that taken at brewer? Probly not, you live too far north. Anyway, is this place in the database? I must be missing something because I havent heard of it.

My avatar was taken at the old TN State Penn. It would be odd if Bryce/Jemison was not in the database. It's like the most famous abandonment in Alabama. Everyone around here has either been there or heard of the place. It's also widely thought that the place was burnt down or demolished. There is much confusion between Jemison and this spot: http://www.uer.ca/...ow.asp?locid=21366
Plus there is still a Bryce building located adjacent to the Univ of AL campus in Tuscaloosa which is still in some degree of operation: http://en.wikipedi...iki/Bryce_Hospital

Yeah I saw that.
I think this is the confusion The place we keep referring to is the Jemison building and the S.D. Allen Intermediate Care Facility. It is called Old Bryce by locals, but there is a current Bryce. Jemison and the Care Facility are still there. It was lit on fire, but did not fall down (yet). Both places are still standing. Some say (sounds like urban ledgen to me) that it was used to house black patients. Welllll, anyway I would have included links, but this stupid computer wont let me . Just google.

That was mentioned in the documentary. I'm not sure of the truth either, but it said they were forced to work the cotton field.

Hey there, I'm just over the border in Mississippi. I'm certainly not above crossing the border for a fun bit of UE. However, I will likely be bringing my pup along. No worries, however... she is well steeped in UE.

"Old" Bryce used to be beautiful before the fire a few years ago. Servo had tons of Bryce and other Alabama area locations up at one point, but eventually took all his gorgeous work from the DB. I am still in Alabama but rarely explore since Servo moved out of state. This is his website, some alabama stuff is stull up there.

So I said "Why don't you shove it where the sun don't shine" and so he did. He put it in the cupboard under the stairs and it hasn't been mentioned since.
