Alright soooooo I have been everywhere that i can think of here in london...Except mc cormicks...cant get passed the dead squirrel idea just yet, I am looking for something new to explore, does anyone have any suggestions? any drains? other old kinda creepy buildings? I enjoy getting a scare out of it, so I tend to go more at night. I may even need some people to show me around if at all possible. London I know has many many abandonments, just have to find them, I could maybe share a few back, anything?

I think we already covered this. You have to contribute if you want freebies. Generally that means pictures and a writeup.

I have posted pics and written stuff, im not a poet So I am not to sure what kinda write up you guys are wanting here, but im doing the best i can, I am new and was expecting a little flack for being a newcomer but you people seem to think I am the devil of exploring or something, I have seen other newcomers get info without ever saying anything other then "want locations for creepy places" so explain to me, what it is that is required before you people stop thinking im the devil of exploring? "GEESH!"

I'm not calling you a lier, but a quick search of your posts yields no pictures and two write ups. The problem is not that you're asking too many questions, but that the type of questions you're asking are for specific details for specific sites. There is no real time or content limit for people before they get handouts, in general the more time you spend on UE the less you'll ask those questions and the more you'll find your own sites.

We don't give out info in the wake of run-on sentences.

In all seriousness, just because there aren't too many locations listed in the database (only 21 locations are put up anyway), doesn't mean you've run out of koi in your pond. This just means there's that much more to be found in the city, wouldn't you think? That's the essence of exploration. If you drive, get out in your car and take all of the back alleys, the forgotten country roads, or the places you least expect to find something. It's the thrill of the hunt.

Now get out there!

Ok and that grandted there is a link with pics to a house that i went to, but i cannot seem to load anything on this site, so then therefore in order for me to get any pics up i have to make the time to build a webpage setup of photos....maybe you can help me in figuring out how to make these pics smaller so they will fit on the site and i wont have to waste time making a webpage setup for people to see the pics... and here are the pics www.urbaexplorations.piczo.com

If you use the "quick gallery creator" which is just below the post reply box, you don't have to resize the images because it does it for you once uploaded. Although it might take longer to upload full images just so the program can resize it for you. So your best bet is to resize it to about 500kb or less using whatever freebie image program you can find and then upload them using the before mentioned tool.

If you still don't know what I'm talking about, click reply, then scroll down a little and you'll see the "quick gallery creator" (assuming you have flash 8 +)

It's the thrill of the hunt.

-Ya that's the funnest part, of 'sploring

  • An extra hint,
if you want to avoid the annoying seizure-inducing gallery format
and want your pics embedded in the text, like this

use this format- [img,]http://www.yourimagelink.jpg [/img,]
without the commas

And when you finally disappear, We'll just say you were never here.

You could post one image on flickr/photobucket, etc...and have a link to the set if people want to see. It leads to whining by people here, but it comes down to which one is MORE worth your time.

Both photobucket and flickr are free. No excuses.

Welcome to UER. I'm glad you got the picture thing figured out. Embedding the pics is much easier for the people viewing it to look at, but we'll take them any way we can get them, I guess.

That is a funky little window in your 3rd pic. I like it.
