Well, it looks like exploring that ol' Oshawa WalMart may have gotten easier, or possibly harder...

Firefighters battle blaze at vacant Walmart in Oshawa

Thu Aug. 27 2009 2:14:43 PM - Web Staff, cp24.com

Firefighters are battling a fire at an old Walmart that construction workers were currently taking down on Thursday morning.

The old Walmart is vacant and was being torn down at Harmony and Taunton Roads. A new store was operating in the area. The buildings are located close to one another.

Fire crews are trying to get the fire under control and say there is deep burning in the debris.

Some fire hydrants were shut down, but firefighters have now hooked up to water sources.

CP24 is receiving a lot of calls from residents saying there is a lot of smoke in the area. There are no reports of injuries.

Why the hell would you want to waste your time exploring a disused Walmart?
