|  | | | So heres pics of the hyrdrolectric plant, a really short tunnel, some birds, and a bunch of really cool towers I found. Enjoy and comment!
As a note to the really dim prop shafts, I had to lower a flashlight into the hole and didn't really have time at that point to cover the area as well as I wanted. I'll be returning to this location when I go out next monday. I made the mistake of thinking the power plant wasn't accesible by anybody else so I jogged/walked/hiked upwards of maybe 4 or so miles to get to it, in addition to crossing the river..so yeah it got kinda late by that time of the day after Id explored everything else.

| | | | Great pictures! That looks like the Belle Island power plant for sure. Weve been going there for years. Pretty empty but there's a ton of graffiti in there! FYI dont stay there too late. They used to lock the gates after dark and I know the cops used to frequent the island because of all the drug deals that happen down there. Plus being down there after dark is just a kinda bad idea lol. If you walk farther onto the island there's an old quarry with a huge rock overhang that you can walk on that's kind of cool. And there's a few other old old buildings out there but they are all small and empty. Might be good for pictures but not much of an explore.

| | | | I kinda got that feeling..and crossing the river at night was rather interesting seeing as how I ran into these really strange kids. I think they were drunk or something..they were nice though. But I definitely booked it outta there once it got dark. Thanks for the tip on the quarry Ill check it out.

| | | | Yep last time I was there at night I saw a group of 4 pretty gangster looking guys and the one leading the pack had a chrome desert eagle shoved in his pants pointing at his family jewels and made sure it was highly visible.
If you walk further up theres a fairly nice wooden plank bridge so you dont have to go rock hopping. only time I ever rock hopped back at night time was with a friend during a really bad storm. HORRIBLE idea.
