somewhere between newark & secaucus

I was on the train back home from New York City today, when looking out the window i noticed some type of building (or what looked like to me, an abandoned town) on the left hand side of the train (going west i guess) somewhere between Newark & Secaucus. Anyone have any idea what i'm talking about?

One of the most toxic places you can possibly explore!

And with that clue, you should have all you need to find it.

CDC in big letters on the side? That should tell you something right there.... that property is monitored, and they have, can and will lock you up if caught there. Been there, its a pain, and not all that so....

oh yeah, and not just polluted......SUPER FUCKING BAD POLLUTED. If it werent for the fact that my dick grew an extra 4 inches in a branchlike direction, and my friend developed a third nipple on his forehead from us walking around there, i may have gone back

Yeah, BDL is right. Not much there to see, and the risk is pretty terrible. Checked it out a few weeks ago, but only spent a half hour there because my eyes, lungs, nose, and throat started to burn.

A sampling of the chemicals still at the site:

Soil and water contaminated with: polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), contaminated fill material from non-site related chromium ore processing, dioxins, dichlorobenzenes, 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, naphthalene, benzene, and chlorobenzene, as well as several other semivolatile and volatile organic compounds

Tanks and drums of: dioxin contaminated asbestos.

I failed to do any research on the place before going. Only after I went and started experiencing the burning did I go home and look it up. Bad move!

That is one of two sites that are single handedly responsible for pretty much all of the contamination in the hackensack river and newark bay. its becasue of that place that you cannot eat anything caught in those waters. its supposedly still polluting the area since the ground is so saturated with shit and its leecing into the neaby water. Theres a big EPA PDF online about it, its a great read, and theres is some really nasty stuff there. If the ticks dont get you trying to get in, youll inhale about a decade off your life just wandering around. The ground is spongy and it makes your eyes tear with the fresh scent of mothballs. Plus the train bridge has around the clock people and activity, and its in clear view. Its not really worth it.

That sounds... hardcore.

The worst that I've explored was a coke plant, and that was because the wind was blowing and swept up some of the dust into my airway.
