Yeah, the interface is a bit hard to work your head around. Gotta give it some slack, since it's a user-built hack. Hope you enjoy playing around with it!

| | | One thing one should not forget is to add sharpening like unsharp mask in photoshop. The results after tonemapping can be quite soft.

| | | I've done them before but never really got the results I wanted, but I've recently tried some different techniques and post processing and now i'm ready for spring! I also use photomatix, but there are alternatives that work well. One being http://www.mediach...om/hdri/index.html Here's a recent sample that I did for comparison

| | | Thanks for everyone - I am so damned if people get something out of this, and even more because hdr can be so good tool too (as you can see aparis99's photos above - nice work).

| | | Dude, where are all the clown car colors?!?!?! jk. Seriously this is a killer use of HDR because its subtle. Even after 3 years of butchering my way through processing ... I still give props to those people who are reserved in its use. Thanks for sharing!

I did have that period too when starting, but I did cure. There is some strange magic, that makes everyone do those "clown car colors" when starting. Thank god that ain't only way to use hdr's... And it is possible to cure from it.
