Nice!!!

when you are here, you wish you were there. but once you're there, it soon becomes a here, and you again wish to be there instead of here...

we will never be completely satisfied.

Good attempt for the train pan shot. If you plan to continue taking those types of shots, I'll offer some advice:

Obviously you need a slower shutter speed, and you've got that already.

When looking through your viewfinder, lock onto a certain feature of the train (or any moving object) with your focus point and move with the train. I find shooting multiple photos in burst is the best method, as you continue your movement throughout the whole photo and are not tempted to stop moving your camera mid-frame. Avoid vertical movement and follow the train in the smooth horizontal motion.

Try to do the shot in an area with non-distracting backgrounds. Something simple and plain that will look nice if blurred. Posts, wires, buildings can often clutter up a pan photo.

Drainshots! These are pretty good for the amount of light you have - looks like just the one hand torch, and maybe a 6v light too. 4 and 5 are the same shot, with one made B+W so it hides noise when you brighten it up? The reflections in 7 and 8 are choice, but I'd like more information about your camera settings in these.

From the first set, #1 is excellently executed.

#2 just seems to be missing something. I like it, but it isn't as strong as #1. Is there more color to this? If so, I'd like to see it. As it is right now, it's nice to look at, but is bland by comparison.

#3 is pretty neat, but TRAINS gave you the best feedback for panning. It's hard, and I'm still learning to do it myself.

I like the second set, but maybe try adjusting your white balance to have a red/yellow correction so that light isnt so very very blue, but is a slightly warmer white. I am experimenting with this myself, and it turns out that so far, the blue-ish white cool light from LEDs tends to wash out details in my drain shots. I've been correcting in-camera by setting it to a better WB and then correcting the RAW for a slight yellow-red shift.

Me goin' legit would be like JarJar on speech therapy.
