so is there still hydro at this place? or should i be going during the day so that I can see better?? i have noticed several areas to enter the building which way is best? is there any threat from the surrounding factories in the area? anything to watch out for other then asbestos?

No, there is no electricity in this building.

I wouldn't advise exploring at night because it is very easy to spot flashlights and camera flash from the outside of buildings at night.

I'm not going to give any entry details because it is against UER policy and because I don't think it's a good idea either.

I wouldn't really worry about asbestos in this factory and the neighbours are not really that big of a problem.

I have just recently come across this site and it has already provided me with some useful information about places I have wanted to check out. This factory was 1 of 3 places next on my list I have yet to see in my area that i currently know about. After seeing the day time pictures I am definitely looking forward to exploring this one first. The unfortunate circumstance is that my schedule only allows me to explore at night.

I am not as high tech as some of the people who currently post pictures on the forums, as I only have a half decent digital camera (Sony Cybershot). If i was to go to McCormick's in the late evening hours, do you think this camera would be sufficient and/or a good idea considering the amount of windows facing a highly active road.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated...as I am weary enough about the area of the city that this building is located.

I actually used pretty much the exact same camera, if you have a tripod it will help a lot. Try not to use the flash at all and go for a long exposure. I would not recommend going at night, especially if you're planning on using a flash. Even if you're going during the day, bring a good flashlight, this place is dark despite the big windows out front.

Unfortunately I'm not the best photographer, nor do I spend the money on items to make my pictures better quality...lol Exploring these places have become an addictive hobby for the time being, it's very interesting and appealing to see the state of some of the areas I have already been to. ALTHOUGH I did manage to visit this factory last night, very short lived, due to limited time...and other...lets say "Obstacles" (Voices coming from a stairwell that I was closing in on)

After hearing the voices, I didn't bother to stick around to find out who they were coming from, so to say the least I did not manage to get past the first floor. But I did not come out empty handed, I did manage to get a few pictures...some of which are in such poor quality, I see no reason to bother posting them. As for the ones that I would like to share...i'm kinda new to this and am not sure how to go about it properly. Anything you can help me with to post them would be greatly appreciated.
