So me and my girlfriend decided to go for a walk and see if we find something new. We didn't expect to be going anywhere underground during the day so we brought no flashlight. We started walking down Edgehill Drive all the way west until the end. We turned right and then we saw a path. It turned out to be an ATV path, but we decided to explore it anyways. After making a few turns in the path we started seeing weird things like a shack that goes into the ground. Unfortunately we didn't have a camera with us here (at my parent's house in Barrie), but I used a cell phone to catch some pictures.

As I said we didn't have a flash light so we couldn't go inside and explore (it was pitch black). At this point the phone died, but I have pictures along the path showing how to get here (will post instructions). After that we saw a house completely demolished except for the chimney that still stood. In the rubble there was an old record player and a bunch of other older stuff. We kept to the same path and eventually started seeing cages, little shacks, more ruins. At this point my girlfriend felt really uneasy about the place so we turned back.

Anyone explore this before? There's lots of other paths that look interesting that we didn't get a chance to see yet. I'm not sure if this is in the database already or not.

INSTRUCTIONS HOW TO GET THERE:

1) First make your way to Edgehill Dr & Miller Dr. Map: http://maps.google...,0.011362&t=h&z=17

2) Turn North on Miller and within maybe 5-10 feet you'll see a path to your left with a no trespassing sign, saying something about you needed an trail path to enter. Turn right when you enter the path.

3) Walk North on the path, parallel to Miller, until you see a big opening with ruins to the West.

4) Walk a little bit West until you're closer to the ruins and look North, you'll see a path that has a "No Hunting" sign beside it.

5)This path goes for a while, curves, and etc... The further you go the more "No Trespassing" signs you'll see (which obviously means even better). Eventually you'll see the underground shack in the first picture to the right on the path. Keep following the path and soon you'll see the chimney house, keep following the same path without turning off and you'll start seeing the cages and the many other shacks.

I plan on going back there to see what else I can find, it looked promising. Has anyone explored here yet? If so then what else is there to find? Post some pictures.

If you look on the map you'll see LOTS of forest with a few patches of ATV trails, all of the interesting shit is in the forest. I'm not sure how far into the forest the trails go but it seems interesting.

If there is old ruins in the area, it could easily be cold storage (cold cellar)

Thats how people stored food before refrigerators were commonplace.

Ya that's what I was thinking. From the looks of it, it's an old settlement or something that got demolished when the houses up North got built. I just threw my clothes in the dryer because it was thundering the last time we went. After that we're going back with a flash light and a decent camera.

Me, too. I know have one of those UER miniLED light thingy's on my keychain so I'm never stuck without a light again. I hope you go back soon with camera and flashlight.
