|  | | | I was at WalMart in north Oshawa yesterday, just buying a new stock of cheap Chinese crap. When I walked through the doors I discovered the store was about 75% empty. Virtually all the cheap Chinese crap and the shelving units were absent. I bought the few cheap Chinese craps I could locate in this truncated store and asked the manager what was up. He said they are moving all the stock to their new super-mega huge location, which they plan on opening on July 29th. I asked where the new location is and he said "18 feet north of this location". They plan to close this location on July 28th, and open the new one on July 29th. They will then begin demolishing the old location and turn it into an extended parking lot. "How will customers get into the new store if there's only 18 feet between this and the new one?". He said that during demo he hopes customers will realize there's a new store behind the one getting demoed. He even said they'll build "tunnels" through the old building that lead direct to the building. Should be fun. If you're in the Harmony/Taunton area of Oshawa, be sure to check out the "abandoned" WalMart, LOL...

the scarborough McDonalds(seen in the barenecked ladies video- "lovers in a dangerous time") had to build a newer more modern building(because 55 seats just wasn't enough, they needed 75), so they leveled the McPlaygroung and built a new restaurant in the playgrounds footprint. then once the new restaurant was open they leveled the old restaurant and paved it over! this McDonalds location didn't stop production of its simulated food for one minute, it didn't even lose one fat... i mean customer!!!
so in this age of consuming- nothing can/will stop the flow!
come to the Scarborough Walmart...
-its enough to make you punch yourself in the face!

Do all or most Walmarts have a McDonald's in them? Every one I've ever seen does,and you've gotta love the Walmart shoppers who scarf back apple pies and stuff while they're shopping.

i'm not sure... but i assume most do, i rarely go into walmart. altho i was in walmart around x-mas, someone in front of me was "shop-a-eating". the gross smell of McDonalds was wafting and trailing behind them as they walked. then their stupid kid dropped its ice-cream cone, they looked around to see if anyone noticed them make the mess, then just walked away.

If you're talking about the one on Eglinton between Pharmacy & Warden, I DO punch myself in the face every time I'm forced to go in there! Something about that location , people are rude, obnoxious and arrogant. And they hoard as if the end is nigh!
