| | Shoreline access < on 7/4/2009 11:28 AM >
| | | Does anyone know of any sites in Ontario that are better accessed from the shoreline or sites that may only have a water access? I am always willing to get wet. Its seems that most building along the shoreline that still have security, only have it at the front gate. And sometimes regular patrols, but never seem to watch their shoreline.

| | | Lakeview Generating Station was a classic case of this. You could engage in a heart-pumping evasion of gate security through a culvert and along the ditched edge of the plant's coal pile, best attempted only at night or in the early morning. Or you could enjoy a slightly longer, leisurely walk along a deserted beach at any time of day. It's a couple years gone now though.

| | | You could also access Hearn in this manner. Just watch out for giant freighters in the shipping channel.
