Anyone up for Ellicott City, MD?

I'm going to be going to downtown Ellicott City sometime this week, let me know if you want to meet up. I found a great cluster of abandoned houses that are just begging to be explored.

About how many houses would you say are there and do you have a plan on parking already? When are you planning on exploring this, I work monday through friday so weekends are pretty free and open for me. If you do it on a weekend count me in.

Well...... crap........

Yeah, there is loads of parking all over the place. The actual houses are just actually some train tracks. You just follow the train tracks down and there they are. It is a very small city, there is only really one main street, so there is no need to worry about parking in a spot that might look suspicious. I would say there are about 4 houses that I could see. I can go whenever, weekend would be fine.

I work from about 2 pm to 10pm, I can probably get off early friday. I can check this place out with you friday night or saturday afternoon. I know some places are awesome to check out during the night time hours. Your choice on day or night exploration let me know.

Well...... crap........

Friday would be perfect. I would prefer to go during the day time, maybe at about 1 or 2 in the afternoon. If you PM me your email address I can give you directions.

Hope you guys have fun.

Just a reminder, though, (as I was reminded several times when I started here)

you might want to work out specific times and dates via private messages or email.

This is a public board, so you never know what kind of weirdos might read your plans and try to meet up with you, unannounced, at this dark and secluded location.

As well as the police.

Yeah I'll keep that in mind I've taken this to PM for the final planning. As for weirdos they don't bother me in the least I've dealt with some pretty creepy individuals, as for police I'm not worried about someone just trying to do his job and I can BS my way out of it.

I'd love to join you if you haven't gone already. I'm down in Arlington. And actually if you'd like to join me, I found a couple good spots down my way. One looks like an old garage or Wearhouse..can't really tell which. I checked it out last night to find the best entry point. The only issue is theirs some barb wire which I cut myself up on when the fence flexed. No signs of squatters either.

The other one is up in Georgetown. The old children's rehab center. That ones gonna be a little tougher since the only way in looks to be thru the vent system via the basement.

Just let me know.

I was in the area so I went to scope out the place. These are just a few snapshots, I would love to revisit this location though.
