Burnt House - Henley Beach - South Australia

Last month a house in Henley Beach caught on fire, an elderly woman and her daughter lived in the house together, they got woken up by popping noises and managed to make it out of the house safely. It is thought that a fluorescent light in the kitchen started the blaze.
While I was there today having a look around "the property is now up for sale" an elderly neighbour started talking to me over the fence, letting me know I should'nt get too close as bits of the roof are very unstable, and that just yesterday a piece of it fell into her driveway and she had to call the council to let them know.. then she proceeded to drag the piece of wood out and show me So I got just a few pictures and promised her I would'nt get too close and she went back inside.. soooo here are the pics. It is such a shame, it looked like it used to be a beautiful house and it has a gorgeous garden out the back, which I didn't manage to get a pic of. Maybe another day.

1. Taken at the front of the house.

4. This was taken through what was a bedroom window.

5. This was the kitchen - where the fire started.

6. The roof of the kitchen - or where the roof should be.

7. Taken at the rear gate, near the kitchen
